Adam and Tesh met during Freshers’ Week at university, after one of those simple moments that somehow turn into lifelong friendships — an invitation to play frisbee that stuck. Fourteen years later, their friendship has carried them through countless chapters, trips, and stories (some better left untold), grounded in loyalty, humour, and a deep mutual respect.

A forensic psychologist by profession, Adam balances a sharp, analytical mind with a creative and adventurous spirit. He loves snowboarding, cooking, and playing guitar, and approaches life with curiosity and calm confidence. Married to his wife Hayleigh and a proud dad to two children, Adam brings warmth and joy to every space he’s in — even when that includes bungee jumping off the tallest bridge in the world on his honeymoon.

Camila and Sveta met in 2013 by complete chance in a bar — because, of course, the universe would send her soul sister that way. From their wild early days living together, travels to London and Lisbon, to Svetlana’s permanent move to London and Camila’s beautiful mum-era, they’ve moved through every chapter of life side by side. Camila is caring, quirky and wonderfully unique — the kind of best friend who understands Sveta on planes of existence most people don't even know exist.

Camila has travelled far and wide, and has recently returned back to the island of Malta. When she’s not crunching code as a software engineer she’s enjoying life by the sea and devouring another incredible michelin star dish. Living in a dreamy seaside apartment with her adorable daughter, Malena, she’s half Maltese, half Bolivian, and 100% magic.

Luke and Tesh’s friendship is one forged through years of shared experiences, mutual support, and a healthy dose of humour — including Luke being widely credited as the reason Tesh actually has a degree. From lectures (where Tesh famously slept beside him) to festivals, comedy nights, and long-standing debates about music line-ups not being what they used to be, their bond is built on loyalty, patience, and plenty of laughs.

His passions span golf, live music and comedy. He’s fuelled by vast quantities of coffee, partial to a Pepsi Max, a good red wine or a whisky, and maintains the delicate balance of cycling indoors just enough to justify dessert. Luke shares his life with Hollie, (despite appearances) can speak fluent Spanish — though he’d rather not be tested on it, and must enjoy torture as he watches Manchester United religiously.

Daniel and Sveta met in 2013, back when life’s circumstances meant he was regularly an honorary third wheel — because he was adored, and was someone Sveta could confide in. Over the years, they’ve collected many memories, from a trip to Poland, to wining and dining at Palazzo overnight stays, Daniel has become one of the most steadfast people in her life: reliable, loyal, a guiding light, and always there through every twist and turn. Whether they’re meeting over brunch, attending a music festival or having a cosy takeout at home, Daniel is a solid part of Sveta’s life.

He’s funny, charmingly inappropriate, and loves making people gasp with his crude humour — it’s his love language. He’s worldly and business-savvy - a historical genius and a successful hotel and restaurant owner in Malta. Daniel is engaged to his partner Gianluca and they’re in the process of purchasing a beautiful home on the sunny island of Malta.

Rory and Tesh met at university, and their friendship quickly became one shaped by shared experiences, trust, and adventure. From their first trip abroad together with Luke — seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers live in Spain — to unforgettable moments involving Tesh falling into a roadworks hole when repeatedly advised to avoid it, Rory and Tesh’s bond has been built on generosity, laughter, and unwavering support.

Working as a project manager on major commercial developments, Rory currently helps deliver large-scale Amazon distribution centres — so if your parcels arrive suspiciously quickly, you know who to thank. Outside of work, he’s at his happiest outdoors: hiking, climbing mountains, camping, or travelling to new places, having explored over 30 countries across five continents. Rory married his soulmate Heather in 2024, and together they created a tiny human, their daughter Lily — the centre of his world.

Sveta and Tamsin met way back when they were still teens at higher secondary school, and life has thrown them onto every possible path — yet somehow, they always snap right back into place as if no time has passed. Whether it’s a cosy evening on the sofa or enjoying a cocktail in the sun, Svetlana and Tamsin have a long-standing friendship filled with warmth, understanding, encouragement and many giggles in between. Between Tamsin’s mini adventures in Malta and attending heavy rock concerts to regularly visiting her sister and niece in Manchester, Tamsin brings a bubble of happiness and mental mischief anywhere she goes. Strong, resilient and endlessly supportive, Tamsin has a quiet determination that carries into every part of her life — from sport to work to friendship.

A former graphic designer, professional photographer, bodybuilding competitor, women’s rugby player and now, coach, Tamsin has taken every opportunity to live life to the max. She works in iGaming and shares her life with her sweet dog, Cookie, and her partner Jon.

George met Tesh through shared circles and a mutual love of travel, sport, and good company, and also had a front-row seat to the very beginning of this love story. On a Berlin bar crawl, somewhere between pub stops, George watched Tesh meet Sveta (he somehow managed to be charming, coherent, and, crucially, not terrifying). Tesh returned the next morning to him and the lads claiming there was “nothing to report”. One problem: the smile. It was doing laps around his face. It was clear - Svet and Tesh had clicked from minute one. They haven’t looked back since, and the rest is happy history. *not claiming matchmaking credit whatsoever ;)

George works in a start-up digital health consulting firm and has spent over a decade in the industry. Outside of work, he’s happiest travelling, watching sport, and catching up with family and friends — usually at the pub, gym, or mid-football debate. An Arsenal season ticket holder with a nerdy fascination for Ancient Egypt, George is also impressively consistent, having eaten a banana every day of his adult life.

Likes: banana bread lightly toasted and lightly buttered, football (especially Arsenal), debating politics, 1980s soul and R&B, gym sessions, travel planning, Ancient Egypt facts, and bananas — always bananas.

Martina is the sister right after Sveta in the family line — calm, grounded, and wonderfully down-to-earth. A former ballet dancer until the age of 17, Martina carries herself with an effortless elegance… right up until she breaks into a full, contagious belly laugh, which she does often and without warning.

She moved to the UK just two months before Sveta to complete her Masters in Crime Science, Investigations and Intelligence at the University of Portsmouth. Now living in Southampton with her partner Harry, Martina works in fintech and thrives in her version of the good life: stability, meaningful friendships, cosy adventures, and really great food and wine. Thoughtful, observant, and quietly funny, she brings a calming presence and steady support to every room she’s in whilst enjoying the finer things in life (hello, opera theatres and fine art).

Likes: ballet, theatre, matcha lattes, murder documentaries, comfortable adventures, excellent meals — unless they involve fish… except cod, which she’s slowly learning to tolerate.

Pete met Tesh through shared time in London, where their friendship quickly became defined by good humour, sport-fuelled debates, poker tables that rarely went Pete’s way, and countless ales enjoyed in excellent company. Whether it’s hiking, raving, or simply spending time together (tolerance levels permitting), their bond is built on banter, loyalty, and a shared love for fun — even if Tesh still hasn’t quite mastered answering the phone.

A true sport fanatic, keen runner and hiking lover, he’s always up for something active or social. When he’s not on the move, his soft spot is firmly reserved for his family schnauzer, Albert — his undisputed number one.

Likes: tagines (the GOAT 🇲🇦), Thai and Indian curries, olives in alarming quantities, Drum ‘n’ Bass and house music, gigs at Alexandra Palace, running, long rambly voicemails, sport chat, London adventures, and the occasional guilty pleasure cheesy pop moment.

Cristina, the next sister in the lineup of Sveta’s family, is the fiery soul of the group. Living in Malta and working as a veterinary nurse, she’s devoted her life to caring for animals, whether they’re tiny, fluffy, or tall enough to steal food off the counter without effort (looking at you, Finn).

Her horse Finn is practically her child, and most of her free time is spent riding, grooming, or spoiling him with all the affection and treats in the world. When she’s not at the stables, you’ll find her soaking up the Mediterranean sun, giggling, speaking her mind, or planning a short getaway with her best friend Emma.
